Funds raised through Dream Home Art Union (previously RSL Art Union) allow RSL Queensland to provide practical support, assistance, advice and camaraderie to current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families across Queensland and nationally.

RSL Queensland’s mission is to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie to enable veterans and families to live with dignity and respect.

For example, in 2024, RSL Queensland supported 7,304 veterans and their families with their services, found jobs for 358 veterans and their partners, and helped 238 individuals into safe, permanent housing.

Ranging between $10,000 and $100,000 in gold bullion, the Bonus Gold prize is awarded to the first prize winner and determined by the value of their ticket book purchase.

If you purchase a ticket book worth $10 or more in one of our general prize home draws, or a ticket book worth $30 or more in one of our 2 Golden Treasure prize home draws, you're eligible to win a Bonus Gold prize.

For example:

• The winning entrant of our major prize home draw who purchased a $30 ticket book (10 entries) would be awarded $30,000 additional gold bullion.
• The winning entrant of our Golden Treasure prize home draw who purchased a $100 ticket book (15 entries) would receive $100,000 additional gold bullion.

As a charitable lottery, there are some restrictions that prevent us from giving away large amounts of cash to winners from certain states. By giving away gold bullion, we can ensure all ticket buyers, regardless of where they live, have the chance to win the same prize.

If you’re one of our lucky gold bullion winners, you have the option of taking possession of the gold bullion or selling the gold bullion to claim its value in cash.

Please note that selling costs and market variations apply when selling gold bullion.

Dream Home Art Union draws (the new name for RSL Art Union) are held at ANZAC House, 283 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006 or as specified in the Terms and Conditions for each draw.

Draws are open to the public and results will be published on our Winners page, on Facebook and Instagram.

Dream Home Art Union (the new name for RSL Art Union) has been restricted from opening prize homes to the public by regional councils and body corporates concerned about disruption to the local community and limitations with parking. We continue to assess opportunities to re-open future prize homes to the public.

Our prize homes might be closed to public viewing, but you can explore them in detail online, any time you like! Visit our Prize page to access draw brochures, photos, videos, floor plans and virtual tours. All addresses are listed on our prize pages, so why not take a drive past and explore the neighbourhood.

Your tickets will be emailed to the address supplied as soon as your order is processed. VIP subscribers will automatically receive their monthly tickets via email when their payment is processed.

Additionally, you can access your tickets anytime via your My Account login. Simply login to view your current and previous ticket purchases.

Tickets can be mailed at special request however delivery can be unreliable. We strongly advise opting to use your email address for immediate ticket delivery. When tickets are purchased near to the close of draw, mail delivery in time for the draw cannot be guaranteed but your purchase will still be registered in our system, and you will be in the draw. Please contact our Customer Service Team on 1300 775 888 for support with managing your ticket delivery options and reissuing requests.

You can purchase a single ticket in a Dream Home draw or multiple tickets in the form of a ticket book. Ticket books come with additional bonuses like Bonus Gold and Bonus Tickets as a thank you for your generosity. 

You can choose to turn a ticket purchase into a subscription with ongoing monthly payments by joining the VIP Club.

Updating your information is secure, easy and convenient. You can update your contact information and payment details online via your My Account login.

Yes – you can share a purchase with one other person by including both names on your account when purchasing a ticket book or subscription.

If you win, the prize will be allocated to the person or two people named on your Dream Home Art Union account at the time of purchase.

Yes—you also have the option to gift tickets however subscriptions cannot be gifted.

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards, direct debit (from your nominated Australian bank account), PayPal, Google and Apple Pay.

If you're a VIP Club member, the card or account you provided upon joining will be used each month for your subscription payment. Please refer to your tickets or login to My Account for your monthly payment date.

If your ticket book includes bonus tickets, your bonus tickets will automatically be included with your total ticket allocation. You can access your tickets anytime via your My Account login. Simply login to view your current and previous ticket purchases.

The normal price of a single ticket in our prize home draws is $5. Twice a year we offer our apartment block prizes, called Golden Treasure draws, where the single ticket price increases to $10. The change in ticket price allows us to bring you bigger, more exciting prizes while still supporting veterans and families.

With all our draws, the more tickets you buy, the cheaper they become.

• For VIP Club members on a $10 or more subscription, your subscription does not vary for Golden Treasure draws, just the number of tickets.
  For example, a VIP with a $10 subscription would normally receive 2 x $5 tickets per month during our prize home draws, except Golden Treasure draws where you will receive 1 x $10 ticket per month.
• For VIP Club members on a $5 subscription, your subscription will increase to $10 during Golden Treasure draws only.
  For example, a VIP with a $5 subscription would normally receive 1 x $5 ticket each month in our prize home draws, except Golden Treasure draws where you will receive 1 x $10 ticket per month.

We also have a small number of longstanding customers on a different ticket book value for Golden Treasure draws. We suggest checking your selected subscription amounts against the ticket information in our Terms and Conditions. Prior to entering, you will need to check your country’s regulations to ensure you are permitted to do so under local law. While the Dream Home Art Union (the new name for RSL Art Union) is not actively promoted outside Australia, interested overseas supporters can purchase tickets but MUST have an Australian phone number for account registration and contact purposes.

In addition to this:

• All Dream Home Art Union prize and ticket values are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). We only accept payment in Australian dollars.
• Dream Home Art Union tickets can be purchased via credit card (excluding American Express), debit card, PayPal, or via direct debit from an Australian bank account.
• Whether you can purchase Dream Home Art Union tickets online while overseas will depend on your banking institution. Please contact your bank for information about international payment processing.

Because your ticket purchase provides you with the potential for personal benefit (winning a prize), it isn't tax deductible.

In the first instance the winner will be notified by phone. As a formality, the winner will also receive formal notice of their prize via email or mail.

In addition, you can check our Winners page where all prize winners are published — look for the sales reference number found on your ticket.

If you're still having difficulty, please check your internet browser settings to see if the www.dreamhomeartunion.com.au website has been blocked from sending cookies. The site works in all current versions of Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

Your temporary security code (which is only valid for up to 15 minutes) may have gone to your email's junk/spam folder.

If it's not there, try clearing your browser's cookies and browsing history and ensure your browser is updated to the latest version. Then click the 'Forgot password' link on the My Account login page, follow the prompts and recheck your email.

Finally, try checking your email server. If you provided a business or government email address, then security and/or firewall settings may be blocking the message.

How to choose a secure password

To help keep your account and details secure, your password must contain:

1. A minimum of 8 characters
2. At least 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase letter
3. At least 1 number

For additional security we strongly recommend including one of the following limited special characters: ! @ $ ^ * ( )

We also strongly suggest you use a pass-phrase (a string of uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers and symbols, e.g. ILik3JohnGri$h@m) that you can easily remember, but is hard to guess.

How to secure your password

• Do not share your passwords with anyone.
• Do not write your passwords down anywhere.
• Make it unique. Reusing a password multiple times makes it less secure, as it only requires one breach to compromise all the different places where that password is used.
• If you have many accounts across many different sites, consider using passphrases instead of passwords.
• Wherever it's available, enable two-factor authentication. This further protects your account with a second identity check. (Anyone trying to access your account will need to provide both the correct password and a one-off code sent directly to you.)

You have the option of taking possession of the gold bullion or selling the gold bullion to claim its value in cash.

Please note that selling costs and market variations apply when selling gold bullion. If you win gold bullion, our team will put you in contact with our gold bullion provider who will be able to provide you with further information about your options.

After each draw, we attempt to contact the winner by phone and mail as the priority. If the winner does not have a valid phone number on file, we will reach out via email or mail.

The winning ticket number will also be posted on our Winners page, with emails, Facebook and Instagram posts to notify our members and followers shortly after the draw.

All our winners have the right to anonymity, but we do love to share their stories on our Winners page.

The transfer of all our lottery prizes to prize winners is not taxable for the prize winner. There may be tax consequences for the prize winner for the ongoing use or sale of the prize. More detailed information can be found via the Australian Taxation Office.
