Sheer disbelief and heart-warming tears were the reaction from Melbourne couple Heather and Phil* when told they’d won RSL Art Union Draw 398 – the $3.5 million Apartment or Gold!
The couple who admitted they’d “been through hell the past five years” were left stunned and somewhat speechless when Tracey Bishop, RSL Art Union Executive General Manager of Commercial & Investments, called them with the news.
Understandably, Heather was overcome with tears of joy after being told, while Phil said he needed to sit down with a cup of coffee to take it all in. The life-changing win has come at the right time for the couple whose son had recently moved to Queensland to be with his kids.
