RSL Queensland Operations Coordinator, Barney Lane, had the honour of delivering life-changing news to Stephen*, our VIP High Life Draw 02 winner – a Triple Treat prize package worth over $160,000.
On Thursday 2nd October, Barney picked up the phone to call Stephen* from Sydney, NSW - a long-time supporter of Dream Home Art Union and a veteran himself. At first cautious, Stephen’s* voice soon lifted when the reality of the call set in.
The prize? A prestige 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 SUV, $50,000 in cash, and a $15,000 Flight Centre travel voucher.
“Wow. Wow, wow,” - Stephen* said, almost lost for words.
Having supported the lottery since 2017, Stephen* explained that he has never missed a month of purchasing tickets.
“I purchase every month”- he said proudly.
For Stephen*, this win couldn’t have come at a better time.
“That’s wonderful, thank you. My car is currently 15 years old and still going strong, but I keep repairing it,” - he shared.
